Tutorial: How to fix Windows Movie Maker no picture/ no sound problems in 60 seconds on Windows 10
This works for people using Windows 10, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1.
Step 1: Close Windows Movie Maker. Open File explorer. Go to C:Program Files (x86)Windows LivePhoto Gallery (you can copy/paste this, or follow the video)
Step 2: Right click MovieMaker.exe and click Properties
Step 3: Click the Compatibility tab, Compatibility Mode, Check the “Run this program” box, select Windows 7, Click OK
