What Is Domain Name System and it’s Types?

The Domain Name System (DNS) is the Internet’s system for mapping alphabetic names to numeric Internet Protocol (IP) addresses The domain name space is divided into three different sections:

Generic domains-Define general category not specific eg name of industries like book.com, music.com
Country domains- A country code top level domain (ccTLD) is a two letter internet top level domains (TLDs) specifically designated for a particular country, sovereign state or autonomous territory for use to service their community
Inverse domain- It is used for mapping an address to a Name. When the server has received a request from the client, and the server contains the files of only authorized clients.
