What is IPV4 and IPV6 | Why do Broadband Companies use IPv4 ? | Siti Broadband, Alliance, Jio

Did you ever imagine how internet protocol address or IP address works? In this video I am going to discuss what is IP address, and what are the differences between IPV4 and IPV6. IPV4 is the older standard and can have only 4,294,967,296 unique address locations, IPV6 on the other hand is a newer one which allows many devices to connect to the internet seamlessly without any trouble and uses alphanumeric digits to assign IP addresses. But still you might have seen many broadband companies use the older IPV4 technology, that’s because shifting to IPV6 is costly and requires newer equipments, so a new technique NAT or Network Address Translation is used now by your router to allocate local IP address to all your devices by having just a single master IP address. All this happens behind the scenes and IP is like a digital address of your device. Hope you all liked this video.
