Windows Server 2003 to 2012R2 Domain Controller Re-install

Today I’m following on from a previous video in completing our domain controller upgrades to 2012R2. As it stands there are two DCs in the enterprise, one is running 2012R2 (shown in the previous server changes video) and one running 2003 32bit.

This video shows how I re-installed the second DC to Server 2012R2 and configured it to be a domain controller successfully.
This server now replicated from the domain master (server 2012)

Please remember to demote a domain controller before re-installing it. If you don’t remember to do this it isn’t the end of the world but can make things harder for you later on. (Speaking from experience in a previous video.)

As always guys I really appreciate your comments, likes and subs so thank you! Don’t forget to share these videos if you liked them.

See you all next time.
