In this video, we are going to talk about network tools and commands for IP configuration specific for the latest Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and #KaliLinux 21.1.

#RedHat and CentOS share similar tools and commands and they both use #NetworkManager CLI and text user interface to configure IP and DNS information on network devices. So you can take the reference from Red Hat and use it on the latest CentOS as well.

Networking on #RHEL8 is managed by NetworkManager and Kali Linux still uses traditional method of using /etc/network/interfaces file for IP information and /etc/resolv.conf for DNS information.
