Introducing DHCP, and Static IP addressing to setup a wireless printer on to Google WiFi network

Description: In this video we take a look at the DHCP settings in Google WiFi, and try to explain why you should use a static IP address when configuring your wireless printer for use with Google WiFi.

The printer shown in this video is a HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g. This model of printer was featured in this video just to give you an idea as to which settings need to be changed if you wish to assign your printer with a static IP address.

Before you start this project we recommend that you have familiarised yourself with your printers user interface and have identified the location of the printers Network settings.
